The four tells

  • Mint authority — if it's still active, the dev can print infinite supply. Should be revoked.
  • Holder concentration — a few wallets holding most of the supply can dump and crater the price.
  • Liquidity — thin or unlocked liquidity can be pulled out from under your trade.
  • Bundle clusters — many coordinated wallets funded from one source means an insider-rigged launch.
